dc.description.abstract The main purpose of this study which is the general objective of carrying out this research was to determine the effect leadership turnover has on employees’ performance of the Narok County Government in Narok- Kenya. The specific objectives were to find out how transfer of a leader, retrenchment retirement of a leader and implementation of placement and succession of leaders within NCG will affect the performance of employees. The significance of the study is to assist the top management in the NCG to formulate strategies that leads to effective succession and placement of employees that will lead to the increase of employee performance within the NCG. The target population for the study was 42 and sample size of 71.43% will be selected for the purpose of the study. The instrument that will be used to collect data will be questionnaires. The data collected will be summarized and analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively by the use of descriptive research design. en_US
