dc.description.abstract The study on determinants of adoption of zero grazing dairy system was carried out in Gatundu subcounty in kiambu county. The objective of the study was to help in exploring the factors that favoured adoption of zero grazing system in Gatundu sub county, Kiambu County. Zero grazing is an appropriate method of livestock keeping and it’s a more profitable venture. The area of study was relevant for zero system as it was characterized with small land sizes and there was no another profitable venture as coffee prices declined thus unreliable farm business. Random sampling was used to select the wards in Gatundu Sub County and stratified sampling procedure was used to select farmers from each of the selected ward. A case study was used as a research design .The data was collected using the questionnaire interview and observation and processed analyzed using SPSS . en_US
