Abstract:
Since its emergence at the beginning of the 1900s numerous companies have adopted the Balance score card (BSC). Indeed, BSC is largely adopted to overcome the shortcomings of the financial performance measures. This study aims to tackle three research questions i.e. what are the positive effects of balance score card on organization performance management; what are the negative effects of BSC on organizational performance management. The research will heavily rely on established models i.e. the SFO model (Strategy Focused Model) to assess the positive effects of BSC on Organizational Performance management.
The study report will be divided into 5 parts. Chapter one will contain the background information and introduction of the study. It also gives the statement of the problem and the research objectives; part two contains the literature review and provides the researcher with the gap to fill which is the cause of the study; chapter three covers the research methodology. The target population is the management of commercial banks in Narok town and the researcher uses the Questionnaire as an instrument to collect the required data.
