dc.description.abstract The main objective for this study was to investigate the effect of lifestyle on adult health. The research was conducted in Maasai Mara University in Narok County.In line with this, the study applied quantitative technique. The primary data was collected through questionnaires, distributed among the teaching staff in the different school departments. The secondary data was collected from different journal articles, magazines and text books. The method of probability sampling used was stratified sampling where the population was divided into stratus and each faculty a stratum. The required sample size was 30 and the proportional allocation method was used to calculate the sample size of each stratum. The research found out that lifestyle has great impacts on adult health with some habits starting from a tender age which could either impact their health positively or negatively. The research is of great importance to every reader especially from the adult population as it is very important that everyone lives a long and happy life free from lifestyle related illness. Furthermore, the research opens a new avenue for other researchers to carry out more studies on the topic in order to investigate every aspect to living healthy among the adult community en_US
