Abstract:
Early marriages remain a severe problem in many parts of the world. In Kenya, most rural areas have been a victim of this despite the government’s effort to reduce it through provision of free primary school education. This study sought to explore the major factors that are associated with early marriages among teenage Girls in Narok County, Narok East Constituency. Simple random sampling technique was applied in determining the sample size. The sample frame was all girl teenagers in Narok east constituency. Data was collected by use of questionnaires and interviews, whereby analysis involved coding of data and analysing using SPSS. Presentation of data was in form of graph and tables depending on the objectives set.
