In this paper we investigate the necessary and sufficient conditions for positivity of operators in non-unital C*- algebras. The methodology involves considering C*-algebras from the known ones like B (H), the C*-algebra of all bounded linear operators on a Hilbert space H and then investigating the properties of positive operators in non-unital C*-algebras
