dc.description.abstract In this documentation on the development of Rental management system is discussed. This is a process which took two months of the second semester of my fourth year. The system aims at enabling efficient rental management by using computerized centralized system. Users of this system are able to receive or send information relevant to them by SMS or email. All activities are coordinated effectively, so as to minimize chances of inconvenience. The system is applicable to Landlord, tenant applications and House Leasers. Chapter one is introduction. It describes the project background, problem statement, objective, scopes, justification and the budget of the system development. Chapter two is literature review. It describe facts and finding for rental management system, that is, what has been done in this field by others. Chapter three is methodology, describing approach used to develop the system. Chapter four is analysis. It concerns with first studying the existing system then using the information gathered to define the requirements for the new system. Beside that it also follows the problem recognition and feasibility phases and must be completed before the design phase can begin. Chapter five is design. It defines the result of the analysis of the preliminary design and the system architecture, Entity relationship diagram, Data normalization and DFD of the proposed system. Chapter five is implementation. It shows development environment set-up, software configuration and management implementation of the system. Conclusion is the chapter that is used to conclude and summarize all the chapters. en_US
