Effects of outsourcing functions to organization performance A Case Study of Naivas Supermarket in Narok Town

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of outsourcing function to the performance of Organizations in Naivas Supermarket in Narok town, Narok County. The objectives of the study are: To establish the effect of outsourcing function in Naivas Supermarket in Narok Town, Narok County. To establish the extent to which outsourcing function is challenged in Naivas supermarket in Narok Town Narok County. To find out the importance of outsourcing function in Narok supermarket in Narok Town, Narok County. To establish the benefits of outsourcing function in Naivas Supermarket in Narok Town, Narok County. The research design for this study is purposive sampling to select 5 Managers, 20 Supervisors and 25 Subordinate staff of Naivas Supermarket making a total of 50 employees. Random sampling technique will be use. The Questionnaires and semi-structured interview will be use in gathering the information. The data will be used to analyze using Qualitative and Quantitative data and organize in similar Topics and presented in form of interpretive reports. A random sampling of 20% will be use and a sample size of 50 employees will be use and the target population will be all employees of Naivas supermarket in Narok Town, Narok County. Reliability of the instrument will be determine through a pilot study and validity will be done through expert judgment and own Research Supervisor. Data will be analyze using descriptive statistics and Quantitative data will be organize in similar topics and will be presented according to study objectives in Tables. The research study will find out whether outsourcing function is key to the performance of Naivas Supermarket in Narok Town, Narok County. Based on the above study findings the researcher will recommend whether outsourcing function should be use to acquire goods and services that are not produced so as to have a continues flow. The study concluded that for Naivas supermarket to perform outsourcing for Quality products was very vital. From the above conclusions the following studies were made for further study. All Managers, supervisors and subordinate staff should be committed in promoting outsourcing function so as Naivas Supermarket will perform to Maximize profit and minimize costs, hence enhancing to growth.
