Abstract

Capital Asset Management system (CAMS) – is a university Assets management system which is a user friendly system that have time and give efficient asset maintenance by empowering to easily keep track of all the university assets. CAM System is a complete end to end solution to cover all aspect of assets management day to day activity and asset buying, leasing and disposing procedure for our universities. The basic objective of developing this project is: Automate the manual systems used in our university in assets management’s s0 as to make the task easier, faster and efficient and enable easy tracking of all assets available. Maintain assets details, registration of all assets in the university including their location, asset description, and price. System ha powerful logical access management in place, each user must be identified by login id and strict pa sword policy is applied to secure the system Generate assets thumbnail and details in html file to end client via email. The modules included in this system include; • Adrninistrative module. • Clerks/Technician module. • Head of Department module.
