Online Birth/Death Certificate Application System (OBDCAS)

Abstract

This report of online birth and death application system consist of seven chapters each d tail d with information of the development of this system and summary of each chapter has been outlined~ below.

Chapter one; This chapter compost of brief introduction of the system by outlining background of the study, problem statement where problem to be solved is briefly discussed. Justification is also stated, this is just giving proving that the system is really in need and this is done through giving weakness of the current system while weighing with the lution of the system to be designed. Chapter two; This chapter is mainly the literature review it is to do with investigating the background of the problems the information system is supposed to serve. Chapter three; determine ways and procedures to go through. These procedures occur step by step thereby allowing the development measure their progress in developing the system. Chapter four; This chapter talks about how the current system was analyzed and describing various methods and tool used. Chapter five; in this chapter the entire design process is discussed in detail including the database design, architectural design and finally the interface design of the system. Chapter six; The major aim of this chapter is to show the code that was used in major parts of the system. This is to enhance the maintainability of the system. Most of the coding is done in Php, while a small part. is done in Java Script, Css and HTML (in interface and validation). Chapter seven; this chapter outlines lists a number of limitations/challenges experience during entire development process. This is the conclusion of the report and recommendation suggested are stated here.
