dc.description.abstract In this report online blood banking system. The main aim of study was to analyze the current system used in various blood banks in the country. The survey was carried out to ensure to survey the contribution of web based technology towards enhancing effective, sustainable and reliable means of interaction between the donors, recipients, donation points i.e. (centers, camps and hospitals).It involves chapter 1-7. In chapter one the introduction was discussed, problem statement, research objectives, scope of the study, justification and the project budget are discussed in details. In chapter two is literature review, it describe the challenges in the present system and research questions. In chapter three is the methodology, this chapter concerns with SDLC and for the case of this project we employed structured design methodology called waterfall model. In chapter four is the system analysis, here the requirements of proposed system are identified, we also discussed how the current system works, fact finding techniques, how proposed system works and feasibility study. In chapter five is the system design. it defines the results of the preliminary design and the system architecture, modules involved, tools used in system design, normalization and entity relationship diagram (ERD). In chapter six, it deals with system implementation and testing, we also discussed the security and maintaining of the new system, system coding and system testing. And finally chapter seven defines the conclusions, limitations and recommendation. The bibliography and appendices are also discussed after chapter seven en_US
