Student Online Voting System

Abstract

Voting is a very critical process in higher learning institution. It is usually accompanied with very high expenditure, chaos which in turn disrupts peace within the higher learning institution. Besides, it could also be a root or tribalism among students if not well handled. Student online voting system is a system that is intended to promote transparency in voting process, reduce the cost of conducting election in higher learning institution and promote cohesiveness among student . Also, the system is intended to save on space. Ballot box and papers occupy large pace and in addition, it is very hard to provide security for the ballot box and paper more so when the election are disputed. Data collected during the development of the y tern were collected through interview observation, literature review and questionnaire.
