Abstract

ABSTRACT The continued expansion and growth in global technologies has led to the development of many new electronic health information management systems to improve efficiencies and quality of care within the field of medicine. Maasai Mara University is a growing world class university. There is a necessity for competent administration in the university’s health unit. This project suggests the computerizing of all the records about patients, staff and drug/equipment supplies in the health center. The health unit information management system will manage patients and staff and will automatically generate medical reports relevant to the clinic and provide a computerized stock inventory
