The research project undertook a case study of Kenya Power Company, Thika branch. The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of employee promotion on company performance. The objectives of the study were; to determine how career development, job satisfaction, and employee retention affects company performance.
Descriptive research design was used for the study. The study targeted employees working in Kenya Power Company, Thika branch. The study targeted 100 employees of Kenya Power Company. The researcher drew a sample size of 49 respondents which was 49% of the target population. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select the respondents.
The study used semi-structured questionnaire and Microsoft excel was used to analyze the data. Questionnaires which contain open and closed ended questions. The tables, graphs and pie charts were used for data presentation. |
