dc.description.abstract This project aimed at developing an African themed game, called Maze runner “Tapoo” game. The 2D Computer Video game created using Java programming language, has a minimum of two players (two competitors).One can be the computer and the other can be the Human. Of the two players one hides in the maze and the other one locates them. The game has 90 levels with the minimum level comprising of a maze of 8 squares(both length and width) and maximum level comprising of a maze of 24 squares(both length and width). Once the hiding players is located in the maze, the Maze inverts so that the entrance becomes the exit but in a different direction. Winner of the level will be the first competitor to arrive at the start point. The Game aims to create a cheaper way to improve problem solving skills as the user is expected to find their way through the Maze and also remember the paths that they used to navigate in. en_US
