dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of technological advancement on organizational productivity (A case study of the Directorate of Public Service Management). The study aimed to answer the following research questions; how will space and time boundaries in a work-related scenario be overcome by the utilization of technology? To what extent does technology influence performance at the workplace? How can technology be used in order to quicken the retrieval of data? How can employees at the workplace be encouraged to be innovative? Is there any relationship between technological advancement and productivity in the Directorate? Descriptive research design was used in this study. The target population in the study was all employees of DPSM who were registered in the Human Resource Unit. The total number of employees was constituted a total of 170 and they acted as the sample frame. The study employed stratified sampling technique to select the sample where 56 employees were selected as the sample for the study. Questionnaires were used to collect data. A determination of the importance of each of the variables was also carried out. The study correlated age, provision of technical skills, internet use, internal technological infrastructure and accessibility of I.C.T devices. The results suggest the presence of a significant relationship between organizational productivity and the five independent variables. Data that was collected was analyzed and presented to ensure proper comprehension and visualization. Visualization was made possible by the use of bar graphs and pie charts.Conclusions about the findings and recommendations to both the organization and fellow scholars were also made. en_US
